The arrival of students at a school ball last weekend was overtaken by hoons with blaring music riding on car roofs and bonnets and hanging out of windows.
Students arriving at the Westlake Girls' school ball at Eden Park on Saturday were caught up in the mayhem with a bus driver unable to manoeuvre safely to the drop off zone and forced to let students out further away.
