The Christian County Public Schools Board of Education met Thursday night for a special board meeting and workshop, during which the board received an update on the school systemâs Learning Recovery plan and summer school numbers. CCPS Director of Instruction Jessica Addison gave the board an update regarding the number of students currently taking part in the Learning Recovery program as well as the number of students who have registered for the Summer Learning Institute. Addison began by reiterating that the program is split into three phases, the first being what the schools are doing to help students recover until the end of the school year following virtual learning due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
