Two Shenandoah Valley schools are changing names due to their ties to the Confederacy.
The school board in Shenandoah County voted last night to switch the name of Stonewall Jackson High School to Mountain View.  Honey Run Elementary will be the new name for Ashby-Lee Elementary School.
The board held off last night on making a decision on the mascot names, but will instead seek more public input.
