manich@leaderherald.com GLOVERSVILLE — A second suspect from the Capital District has been charged with felony conspiracy in connection with Saturday’s stabbing death of 59-year-old Gloversville resident William J. Guzek. The Gloversville Police Department on Thursday issued a news release indicating that Ja’Quah McCall, 19, of Albany was arrested. McCall was charged “related” to Guzek’s homicide, police said. Police said that shortly before 9:30 p.m. Saturday, officers were dispatched to 37 E. Tenth Ave. — a warehouse where Guzek resided — on a report of a “stabbing in progress.” Upon arrival, officers located and rendered lifesaving aid to the stabbing victim, Guzek, inside the large warehouse building. Other officers interviewed several bystanders and checked the building and area for potential suspects. The Gloversville Fire Department and GAVAC arrived on scene a short time later, took over lifesaving efforts and transported the victim to Nathan Littauer Hospital, where Guzek was later pronounced dead.
