Second man pleads guilty in Port Huron stabbing case A second man accused in a Port Huron stabbing incident has pleaded guilty to an assault charge. Joshua Schreibman, 21, of Madison Heights, pleaded guilty to assault with intent to do great bodily harm less than murder, a 10-year felony. Devin Convery, 21, of Port Huron, pleaded guilty to assault with intent to do great bodily harm less than murder and resisting/obstructing/assaulting a police officer on April 13. The men were arrested after 37-year-old Steven Kelch was hospitalized with stab wounds Feb. 24. Schreibman and Convery were briefly charged with open murder after Kelch was found dead at his Burtchville Township home after being released from the hospital.
