Updated December 23, 2020 10:12 a.m. EST Durham, N.C. — The FBI is offering a reward of up to $5,000 for information leading to the arrest of Jerry Lamont Harris. Harris, 26, is "a close acquaintance" of Chakera Mangum, 28, who was arrested earlier in December. The deputy, a 10-year veteran whose name hasn't been released, was wounded on Nov. 14 near the intersection of Mineral Springs and Fletcher’s Chapel roads, when someone in a Hyundai Sonata pulled up next to the deputy and fired several shots into his car. Armand Lewis-Langston, 23, of Durham, was arrested at his home four days later on charges of attempted murder, conspiracy to commit murder and assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious injury. He also faces federal charges and remains in the Durham County jail.
