Potential Presidential candidate Isaac Sahota, ArtSci ’22, Vice-Presidential (University Affairs) candidate Amelia Cockerham, ArtSci ’22, and Vice-Presidential (Operations) candidate Tabassum Pasha, Comm ’21, have secured enough signatures to put their names in the running for AMS executive. The original policy stated teams must collect 380 student signatures by Jan. 25 to get their names on the ballot. On Jan. 24, however, the team was notified that the required signature count was reduced to 190 and were given a one-day extension. READ MORE: “I believe we are ready to push our nomination forward, but we will take the time to earn more support from all of you,” Sahota wrote on social media. “In the coming days our team will try to reach out to the Queen’s community to acquire a list of concerns so that every voice is heard and every purpose is served.”
