Read Article BETHEL — At their April 5 meeting, selectmen were asked by Catherine Ingraham if they’d be willing to take the Mahoosuc Pledge. On the Mahoosuc way website it says the pledge was “created by a core group of local organizations, together with statewide partners. Together, we are committed to creating a sustainable travel destination and ensuring we preserve local quality of life and community vitality. This pledge is part of our commitment to ensure these lands and ecosystems are able to be enjoyed for generations to come.” Ingraham also asked if the town would be willing to share a link to the Mahoosuc Pledge on its official website, so more people could take the pledge if they want to.
