Semi-truck partially hanging over Deception Pass Bridge removed; SR 20 now open
State Route 20 was closed for several hours early Wednesday morning due to a semi-truck partially hanging off the edge of the Deception Pass Bridge.

The Deception Pass Bridge on State Route 20 is back open after closing for several hours due to a semi-truck partially hanging off the edge of the bridge.
The roadway reopened just after 7 a.m. Wednesday. Washington State Patrol (WSP) Trooper Heather Axtman said high winds appeared to be a factor in the incident.
The driver of the truck was able to get out of the truck and is uninjured.
