BELGRADE (Serbia), May 17 (SeeNews) - Serbian blue-chip lender Komercijalna Banka [BEL:KMBN] recorded a net profit of 196.4 million dinars ($2.0 million/1.7 million euro) in the first quarter of 2021, down from 2.268 billion dinars in the like period of last year, it said. Komercijalna Banka's net interest income decreased by 2.9% to 2.952 billion dinars, while the net fee and commission income edged up 0.5% to 1.206 billion dinars, Komercijalna said in an interim financial statement filed with the Belgrade Stock Exchange on Friday. Return on assets (ROA) stood at 0.16% in March, down by 0.77 of a percentage point compared the end-2020 figure, while return on equity (ROE) went down to 0.98% from 5.59% at the end of last year.
