A 45-year-old man sets himself ablaze in Ludhiana. He was living alone in a house in Joshi Nagar. Manoj Kumar Gupta, who had taken premature retirement from the Punjab irrigation department, is identified as the deceased. The police filed proceedings under section 174 of the CrPC.
