1 month ago in Local Photo: Saga Communications The Shenandoah County School Board finalized their budget during a work session this week. The Board unanimously passed its nearly 74-million-dollar budget which is a one-million-dollar increase compared to last year. During the work session Superintendent Dr. Mark Johnson went over revisions to the budget which included a five percent salary scale increase for teachers. The budget will now go to the county’s board of supervisors for its final approval.
