Shot of the Day: Record run for JC's Javier Brown : vimarsan

Jamaica College's Javier Brown (right) powers past Excelsior High’s Devontie Archer to win the Boys’ Class One 400m hurdles title in a meet record time on the fourth and penultimate day of the 110th staging of the ISSA-GraceKennedy Boys’ and Girls' Athletics Championships at the National Stadium on Friday, May 15, 2021.
Brown stopped the clock in 49.86 seconds to erase the previous mark of 49.94 seconds set in 2018 by Rovane Williams of Rhodes Hall High.
Archer finished second in 50.43 seconds, while Camperdown High’s Roshawn Clarke came home third in 50.93 seconds.
It was the second meet record of the championship.
