One1Can (right) with attorney-at-law Christopher Townsend. Dancehall-reggae artiste One1Can found himself in the eye of the storm last week when he revealed in an interview that he had once dated broadcaster Khadine 'Miss Kitty' Hylton, a revelation that was met with the threat of a lawsuit by Hylton's legal representatives if the claim were not retracted and an apology issued. However, the entertainer has so far refused to apologise. In fact, he is standing by his statements and has retained the services of renowned attorney-at-law Christopher Townsend. ”I stand firmly, strongly and resolutely behind every word. I will not equivocate, and no amount of threats about lawsuits is going to censor me or frighten me. I am a student of the laws of libel, slander and defamation," he said.
