CHECK THIS OUT: New video from our crew in the field shows the jaw dropping moment a slide on Highway 96, 4 miles west of Happy Camp, came down and completely covered the highway. As of this morning, Highway 96 is open to one way traffic control with approximately 30 min delays pic.twitter.com/xQOa0xjT94— Caltrans District 2 (@CaltransD2) January 20, 2021 PREVIOUS: Caltrans is reporting that Highway 96 is closed about 4 miles west of Happy Camp due to an active landslide, which a picture shows has strewn dirt and rocks across the roadway.
