May 8, 2021 James Kon Marine Police personnel of the Royal Brunei Police Force (RBPF) detained a 51-year-old local man who allegedly attempted to smuggle contraband along the waterways of Tanjung Semesta on Thursday. During a patrol along Brunei River, police personnel noticed a boat, leading the man on the boat to attempt an escape. Police personnel stopped the boat and on inspection found two packets of Ayamas nuggets and 20 packets of Wise Choice sausages believed to have been smuggled into the country.
