Critical worker children braved the beast from the east to complete 100 laps of the school YOUNGSTERS paid their own tribute to Captain Tom with a '100 challenge' in appreciation of the late veteran and NHS fundraiser. Pupils from Cundall Manor School near Thirsk braved snow and sub-zero conditions to take part in the challenge after 100 pupils were asked to come up with an activity that they could perform 100 times. The challenge was a tribute in memory of Captain Sir Tom Moore who captured the heart of the nation last year with his heroic fundraising attempt that ended up raising £39million for NHS charities.
