Updated 4/7/2021 1:12 AM With all precincts reporting, updated totals late Tuesday showed Jeff Sode was well ahead of Sandra Jo McClain in the race to elect a new Wauconda village president. Updated unofficial returns showed Sode with 630 votes and McClain with 180 votes.
The winner will replace Village President Lincoln Knight, who did not seek reelection but instead is running for Wauconda Township supervisor.
