Article content City council amended the Temporary COVID-19 Face Covering Bylaw to align it with when the province eventually repeals the requirement for mandatory masks in indoor public spaces during the May 3 regular meeting. Masks are still mandatory throughout the province, and the City of Airdrie’s own bylaw is still in place. There is no confirmed timeline for when masks will no longer be mandatory, but with case records being broke across the province, it’s safe to say it won’t be soon.
