Softball Playoffs: East Forsyth advances to second round, remains unbeaten with rout of Green Level

East Forsyth's softball team carried its dominant regular season form into the postseason with a 10-0 win in six innings over visiting Green Level in the first round of the NCHSAA 4A Playoffs on Tuesday.
The Eagles (15-0, 8-0 Central Piedmont 4A) have won 21-straight games dating back to last season. The victory marked their sixth of the season by 10 or more runs.
Junior pitcher Keirston Deal put in another stellar performance in the circle, allowing just three hits while striking out 15 over six innings to get the shutout.
