(NewsDakota.com) – The Jamestown Blue Jays improved to 3-1 in WDA play on Thursday night in Bismarck as they split the doubleheader with Century, winning game one 11-1 before dropping the second game of the doubleheader 9-5. Jamestown’s bats woke up in the fourth and fifth innings in game one against the Patriots by scoring eight runs in those two innings to take the lead in game one. Ella Roaldson had a big day at the plate, going 4-for-5 with three runs driven in and a double, and Jenna Fischer went 2-for-4 for the Blue Jays and with two runs brought in. In the circle, Katie Falk pitched a complete game, allowing five hits and one earned run while striking out two.
