Annular Solar Eclipse - June 10, 2021 The results of this ring of fire will occur when the moon passes in front of the sun but isn't close enough to Earth to fully block out the solar disk. This will leave a ring of light that will shine through in a partial solar eclipse. This is different from a total solar eclipse which will see sunlight being blocked out completely. If you are planning to catch the partial solar eclipse this evening, make sure you set a reminder for yourself and tune in for the spectacular sight. Tags
