Date Time Solar panels secured for community centres Sunlight will soon power four community centres in the Camden area after Council secured $20,000 in funding to install solar panels on the buildings. Funded under the Federal Government’s Stronger Communities Program, solar photovoltaic systems will be installed at Julia Reserve, Catherine Park, Harrington Park and Gregory Hills community centres. Mayor of Camden, Cr Therese Fedeli, said the solar panel installation is a win for sustainability in Camden. “Council is always looking to do the right thing by our residents – those that currently call the Camden area home and those that will call Camden home in the future,” Cr Fedeli said.
