Sonia Gandhi Lok Sabha: Sonia Gandhi drops out of Lok Sabha

Sonia Gandhi, a senior Congress leader, has announced she will not contest the upcoming Lok Sabha elections from the party's Rae Bareli seat, citing health and age reasons. She has been a part of the Lok Sabha since 1999 and has been elected as the state's representative in the Lower House of Parliament since 2004. Sonia's daughter Priyanka Gandhi may contest from the Rae Bareli seat.
