Father Joseph Clochard (DR photo). I have been a Catholic priest and missionary in Africa for more than 50 years. I worked in the Diocese of Ouahigouya in the northern part of Burkina Faso for 30 years, in the northeastern Diocese of Dori for seven years and in the western Diocese of Dédougou for four years. I also served on the Commission of Islamic-Christian Dialogue at the national and diocesan level as animator and formator. Over the years, thanks to all these experiences, I have formed a certain number of convictions about what constitutes true interreligious dialogue, especially between Christians and Muslims.
