Cheboygan Daily Tribune CHEBOYGAN — Due to the heavy rains the county has received over the last several days, those who plan to watch the City of Cheboygan's fireworks display are asked to seek alternate parking options. Cheboygan Department of Public Safety Director Kurt Jones said the field area across from the Cheboygan County Fairgrounds — which is typically used for a parking lot for the fair and the fireworks — will be gated off and unavailable for parking. "Because of the heavy rains we've had, the ground is saturated with water," said Jones. People who are coming to the area to watch the fireworks display will not be able to pull into the parking lot and park for the show.
