THURSDAY PUZZLE This is the final Wordplay of the year, and what a year it has been for crosswords, which were surely one of the amusements that kept us sane. To celebrate, we invited David J. Kahn into our living room for the most entertaining solving session of the week.
Tricky Clues
To encourage family participation, I projected Mr. Kahn’s puzzle from my laptop to the television with AirPlay, sharing it with my husband, Craig, and my daughters, Clare, 17, and Davyn, 14 (a regular speed solver of the Mini). Zane, 18, was busy with his own online gaming.
