Stakeholders' meeting focuses on amplification of Covid-19 vaccination

DIMAPUR — Momentum Routine Immunisation Transformation and Equity Project with its empanelled NGO partner Indian Social Responsibility Network, in collaboration with the state Health & Family Welfare department, organised a one-day stakeholders’ meeting with the HoDs and teachers from different schools under Kohima at Hotel Ura, on March 8. The state-level stakeholders’ meeting was held on the theme ‘To amplify the Government’s Covid-19 vaccination,’ an update stated. District Immunisation Officer (DIO), Kohima, Dr. Khrievilhou Nakhro, in his keynote address, expressed gratitude to the schools for the immense support rendered to the Health department in carrying out vaccination drives in the schools in the past two years. The immunisation officer said the vaccination drives conducted in the schools were successful only because of the co-operation and support from the school authorities and parents. Nakhro appealed to the school authorities to continue to support the Health department in the coming days. The DIO also thanked the project team for the continued technical support in ramping up Covid-19 vaccination through Har Ghar Dastak, Har School Dastak, Har Office Dastak, school and community-based activities and health camps conducted throughout the state, it stated.
