(Provided, Niagara University Athletics) The Niagara Purple Eagles dropped their third game in a row on Sunday as they fell 6-2 to the #20 Robert Morris Colonials. The Colonials opened up the scoring early in the first, and would add three at the start of the second before the Purple Eagles managed to get on the board. Robert Morris would respond with a goal of their own before the end of the period. They added one more goal at the start of the third, before Ryan Naumovski scored on the powerplay for Niagara to complete the 6-2 scoreline. Sioux Lookout’s Brandon Stanley picked up an assist on Naumovski’s goal. The former U18 Kenora Thistle now has six points (one goal, five assists) in ten games this season.
