The officer detected the odor of marijuana coming from the black Chevrolet Impala at Short Broad and Fann streets. While speaking to the driver, identified as Darius Perez Jackson, 37, 600 Caitlin Lane, the officer saw marijuana flakes on Jackson's lap and on driver and passenger seats, a Thomasville Police Department incident report states. The officer noticed the car's CD player was not fully bolted in. When he pulled the CD player out, he found two plastic bags containing marijuana.
