The Oxford Police Department responded Tuesday to a call that an employee was stealing merchandise at the Dollar General on Old Sardis Road. Police say they recovered $1,900 in store merchandise from Ellis Walker's vehicle and returned it to the store before arresting Walker and charging him with embezzlement.
