What are the best ways to use social media professionally? In this interactive workshop, you’ll work with experts to learn best practices for communicating your work to people outside your field. You’ll learn how science writers identify the best elements to include in compelling science stories, and you’ll have a chance to get feedback on your own research “elevator pitch.” You’ll also learn how you can use social media to engage with scientists and the public, and you’ll find out how you can begin telling your science story with journalists.
