Stroud Wesleyan shelter to open early due to storm STAFF REPORTS Stroudsburg Wesleyan Church's cold weather shelter is opening early due to the anticipated winter storm. The shelter will be open starting at 1 p.m. today, and will reopen at 8 p.m. for overnight hours. The church, located at 915 North 5th Street in Stroudsburg, is currently the only overnight cold weather shelter in Monroe County. The shelter is open to walk-ins. Anyone in need of shelter, food or assistance, and cannot make it to Stroudsburg Wesleyan, should call 2-1-1 for information on available resources.
