(WLFI) - Greater Lafayette Career Academy and Builders Association of Greater Lafayette have teamed up to give students a hands on project building playhouses. Those playhouses have since been sold at auction with proceeds going to the career academy. Ordinarily, the two organizations would pair up for an expo put on by the builders association, but that was bot possible due to the pandemic. Through the playhouse building, students would still have a way to learn from professionals while getting hands on experience. Although they couldn't meet in person, students learned from experts through online web meetings, which course instructor Aaron Krueger says gave them even more valuble knowledge.
