Tara Murray Caroline Chisholm Catholic College’s Damian Bernardo will be among the excited spectators as the school’s students return to the stage. Mr Bernardo, the college’s head of learning for performing arts, said it had been a long 18 months for students since they were last able to put on a show. He said while many of the students were able to do some performance work through online and video during the coronavirus pandemic, it wasn’t the same as being on stage. “We are so excited to be putting on a show again,” he said. “We’re excited to be back so the community can see our students’ amazing work. They missed out on the relationships and connections that are normally developed.”
