Stuff gets NZ On Air funding for environmental, opera and pandemic reporting

“This production is a big gamble for NZ Opera, and it's that controversy - innovation vs tradition - that makes it so interesting to follow,” Crewdson said.
The “unruly family” made global headlines in January 2019, as they gallivanted across the country – leaving behind rubbish and coming to the attention of police.

Alison Mau will host a new show following NZ Opera’s production about the infamous “unruly family”.
They had been causing trouble since early December, but caught New Zealand's attention when video surfaced of them trashing an Auckland beach.
