Michelle Patrick Sturgis Public Schools Board of Education on Monday approved several purchases for the district. Two bids were received for milk for school meals. The district chose to stay with Cedar Crest Dairy, due to price and availability. The district received four bids to replace the 27-year-old dishwasher at Eastwood Elementary and went with Stafford-Smith with a booster heater for $44,946. The district received six bids for wireless document cameras to be placed in all classrooms throughout the district. The district chose Precision Data Products for $82,460, which was the second-lowest bid, however they would be able to ship all units sooner.
