Three new substations are set to be operational in Greater Noida by July to address the increasing power demand, with a total capacity of around 800 MW. The substations will cater to the rising demand and future projections of increased habitation, especially with the upcoming Noida airport. The Noida Power Company Limited (NPCL) faces a current demand of 550 MW, expected to rise to 650-700 MW in the coming months.
