Please contact organizers to confirm event details. Congregation B’nai Torah SUDBURY — Congregation B’nai Torah, 225 Boston Post Road, Sudbury, announced the following: Purim Shabbat: 7 p.m. Feb. 26. Celebrate with B’nai Torah as we commemorate the saving of the Jewish people from Haman, during this festive holiday. Lives Still in Limbo, unDACAmented & Navigating Uncertain Futures: 7 p.m. March 5. Roberto G. Gonzales, professor of education at Harvard University and director of the immigration initiative at Harvard will present this program, accessible on Zoom and on B’nai Torah’s Facebook page. The event is part of Refugee Shabbat, a project of Hebrew Immigrant Aid Society, as a moment for congregations, organizations and individuals around the world to dedicate a Shabbat experience to refugees and asylum seekers. The evening will begin with a Shabbat service at 7 p.m. followed by Gonzales’ presentation from 7:45 to 8:45 p.m. There is no fee for the program.
