A SURVEY has shown drug use and dealing are top concerns among Stockton folk when it comes to tackling crime and trouble. A consultation carried out for the Safer Stockton Partnership asked people to list their top three concerns in their area as part of a part of a wider survey to shape a plan to tackle problems. It showed “people using and/or dealing drugs” was ranked top in with more than one in seven responses mentioning this. Officials and councillors discussed the findings at Wednesday’s partnership meeting – and how perceptions didn’t necessarily match what was happening on the ground.
