Midwest Communications ***UPDATE*** 2:53 P.M. 1/31/21 Peoria County Coroner Jamie Harwood said 31-year-old Jevon Gilliam was pronounced dead Saturday morning around 12:30 after being shot nearly an hour prior at the Peoria One Stop in the 3200 block of SW Adams. An autopsy was scheduled for Monday. __________________________ PEORIA, Ill. — Peoria Police have arrested Marvin Sanders, 31, who was one of two men shot late Friday night outside the Peoria One Stop gas station in the area of S.W. Adams and S. Easton Avenue. Officers were called to the scene by three ShotSpotter alerts just before 11:30 p.m. 24 rounds were fired. Peoria County Coroner Jamie Harwood said the other man was pronounced dead at a local hospital. His name has not been released.
