The Fiji Teachers Union Suva branch had its annual dinner night and players’ thanksgiving function at the FTU hall on Thursday.
The chairperson of FTU Suva branch Rajnesh Ishwar Lingam was pleased with the turnout despite the busy schedule of their members and players.
“The branch had planned to reward their players who made an effort to represent the branch at the FTU southern sports tournament that was hosted by FTU Nasinu branch at Rishikul Sanatan College on November 28 where the men’s volleyball team won the men’s volleyball competition and the women’s volleyball team finished runner-up to the Navua women’s volleyball team,” he said.
