SW Regional Council : Executive Still Flexing Muscles An edifice is as strong as its foundation, says the old adage. In this vein, the new Regional Executive Assembly (Council) has spent their first 100 days in office. Their electorate, and the general public are expecting physical achievements in terms of development. But the train is still steaming to take off. Today, some 100 days away, public patience is already stretching out to savour the first development project realized with the mark of the South West Regional Assembly. It is called Assembly west of the Mungo for their Special Status and Regional Council east of the Mungo. Such expected realisations in terms of public development needs include road construction, electricity stability and sufficient supply, flowing water taps, school construction and meaningful enforcement of hygiene.
