SWINDON'S leisure centres will throw open their doors for the first time in months on Monday. And the biggest – the Link Centre – will welcome customers to its famous ice rink for the first time in more than a year. The government has given the go-ahead for leisure centres, gyms and swimming pools to reopen from April 12 as long as social distancing and other restrictions are in place. GLL – the leisure operator which runs the Link, the Health Hydro, Croft Sports Centre, Delta Tennis Centre and facilities at Haydon Wick and Dorcan – says all six will open in some capacity. But group exercise classes for adults will not be allowed until the next step of the roadmap in May.
