Tai Ahoms: Tai Ahoms Protest Delay in Granting of ST Status

Members of the Tai Ahom Yuba Parishad in Dibrugarh, Assam, protested the delay in granting ST status to the Tai Ahom community. They burned the effigy of Union tribal affairs minister Arjun Munda and threatened to boycott the BJP in the upcoming LS elections if their demands are not met.
