The ruling DMK swiftly gained an early advantage in various constituencies in Tamil Nadu. Amid stringent security measures, the counting process for the April 19 Lok Sabha elections commenced simultaneously across all 39 constituencies in Tamil Nadu. A total of 950 candidates are vying for victory in these constituencies, which witnessed a voter turnout of 69.72 percent during the single-phase election.
