Tanaiste ‘not aware’ of cyber attacks on other Government bodies

Tanaiste Leo Varadkar has said he is “not aware” of any other Government agencies that have been hit by the cyber attack.
A security briefing for party leaders is due to take place on Monday afternoon following the ransomware attack that targeted the HSE and crippled its IT systems.
Mr Varadkar said he is not aware of any other bodies that have been affected, following reports of a widespread audit of Government departments to see if they have been hit by the cybersecurity threat.
