The stories have been recorded to serve as a resource for future teachers.Foto: A book about the experiences of 12 teachers from different backgrounds will be launched at Suzieâs Coffee Shop in Kuils River at 11:00 today (10 December). In Teaching: A Noble Calling, the experiences, strength and hopes of the teachers are told to matriculants and young and current teachers who are still teaching in challenging circumstances. Despite the differences in training and experience of the teachers featured in the book, the passion for teaching is the common thread running through it. The stories are captured to serve as a chronicle of teachersâ experiences for future generations in the field.
