Teagasc to host Europe-wide agri-education event Teagasc will play host to a major Europe-wide event on agricultural extension and education later this year. The European Seminar on Extension and Education, a biennial event, will be hosted by Teagasc Ballyhaise College from June 21 to 23 this year. The event will be hosted in collaboration with University College Dublin (UCD) and Northern Ireland’s College of Agriculture, Food and Rural Enterprise (CAFRE). The conference will be delivered online due to Covid-19. The title of the conference this year is: ‘Learning for Life. Continuous innovation support through extension and education for suitable farm communities.’
