View Comments Irondequoit police continued an investigation this week into a Helendale Road home linked to the death of businessman Edward "Ted" Boucher. Police have yet to release a cause of death for Boucher Police returned to the home in the 400 block of Helendale Road Tuesday and Wednesday, apparently searching the home's interior for evidence. Police at the home declined to comment Tuesday. The Democrat and Chronicle has also reached out to Irondequoit police administration for further details. Interviews with multiple residents of the neighborhood reveal that Boucher's car, a 2020 Audi R8, was found on Smyles Drive, near its intersection with Cliffordale Park, less than a quarter-mile from the home that is the focus of the investigation. The car, valued at close to $170,000, stood out on the street, residents said.
